My name is Olivia Ryan, I am a yoga & meditation teacher. I have been teaching for the past three years. My passion lies in teaching intuitive meditation classes & slower yoga styles for healing.
I came to yoga through a meditation practice; I started meditating in my teens and while in
university I began my asana practice. I have been practicing for 8 years and in 2016 I completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified teacher training course in the Himalayas in India. I deepen my practice daily with meditation, asana and by bringing yoga off my mat into my lifestyle.
I am passionate about guiding students to connect with the self in a soft, loving and compassionate manner through meditation, pranayama and asana. My classes are beginner friendly – everyone friendly and a mindful but strong practice to ensure safe asanas without any injury. I teach meditation, yin/restorative, Hatha or a flow class encompassing strong holds to release the body and mind. Class always concludes with a 10-15 minute meditation or yoga nidra, I feel this is the most important part of the practice.
